I like movies, all sorts of movies. Sometimes they're funny and sometimes they're really sad and they make you cry and rethink your whole life. Or maybe they're just funny, like anything with Will Ferrel in it (besides his SNL stuff) and might even make you laugh out loud. I enjoy dumb movies, scary movies, good movies (and even give those with subtitles a try) bad movies, cartoons especially. Some movies are just so terrible you wonder why they were even made. I even like these ones. Pixar just rocks my socks. Dreamworks tries, but not so much. There's so much to love about movies - Johnny Depp, vampires, wizards, bright colors, shiny things, 3D, Tim Burton, swirly shapes, blood that doesn't look like paint. Oh! Harry Potter! With Snape, he's sexy. Step Brothers! Frost Nixon! (Ha, just joking.) Evil conspiracies, Julia Roberts. Talking dogs. NOT TALKING BABIES. The popcorn, the lights, the book adaptations. Listening to movies you know by heart in the background while you clean the bathroom, or work on your computer or cuddle with the dog. There's so much to love about movies.
I used to love watching movies when I was a kid, but didn't really get back into it until a few years ago. See, I love watching movies, but you'll be hard pressed to find someone who likes watching movies WITH me. I can talk through just about anything. Sometimes you just need to ask questions and know everything you can about a movie and make sure everyone saw the same thing you did and that you knew it first and make sure you voice your opinion about the acting, the lighting, the direction (who cares anyway?) and the music. Sometimes you just need to know everything and it can't wait until the movie comes around to explaining it ...anyway. You'll soon see ...I get very animated about movies. I'm Ritiland.
